Hot Sand and Cold Blood
Synopsis
A nuclear trigger is missing from the strategic weapons arsenal at Lakenheath Air Force Base, England, and a rumor is circulating in the CIA and OMNI communities that a Middle-Eastern terrorist group has taken the key bomb component. Fearing the worst, OMNI calls in Lance Ryder, their top investigator, to track down the rogue organization and neutralize a potential holocaust. Acting on tips and his own analytical abilities, Ryder trails the evildoers across four Middle Eastern countries and the United States only to find out the nuclear bomb threat is a red herring. To his horror, Ryder discovers the real threat is tenfold more destructive than a high yield detonation.
Employing all his investigative skills, Ryder unearths the name of Amal Kansi, a Saudi Arabian born terrorist, and the brain behind a heinous plan that is designed to destroy the United States and cast the survivors into a world of anarchy and chaos; a world where the OLD ONE will take souls and inflict horrendous pain and mental anguish.
Ryder tracks Kansi to California where they ultimately engage in a high stakes battle for the souls of mankind - a battle where the loser will pay for all eternity.
