One Another
Synopsis
The times we live in are intimidating and terrifying! This is supported by the highest suicide rate among teenagers, rampant drug addiction, over 50% of marriages ending in divorce, the decline of church memberships, the Catholic Church, as well as the events of September 11th, 2001. Personal relationships seem to be less of commitment and acceptance than superficial and self-centered. We need to return to the simple facts of Christian principals as taught in the New Testament.
The Greek words for "one another" occur exactly 100 times in the Greek New Testament. The quotations from Jesus and others, and the admonitions which result from them are the basis of this book designed to be a devotional and inspirational series of Biblical teachings regarding how we should relate to one another. Each chapter presents the concepts found in the selected Greek word, focuses on the particular interpretive use of it, incorporating the scriptures in which the word occurs.
The texts require total inclusivity in our outlook and interactions with others to help us return to a society where each of us recognizes the "one another" in ourselves.
