Synopsis
In the summer of 1989, thirteen year old Laura travels with her family to Cape Cod for a vacation that will change her life forever. There she meets Louisa and Maggie who have a mysterious set of letters written from somewhere on the Cape in the summer of 1947 by a woman known only as Esther. Laura pieces together clues from the letters which lead her to make a startling discovery buried for more than forty years and helps to effect the reunion of at least four generations of women. Author Biography
Sue Dunkavich
A native of Meriden CT, Ms. Dunkavich lives in Littleton, NH with her dog Nikki, three cats, some fish and assorted North Country wild critters outside her door. Although she graduated from the University of Connecticut and is a former adjunct English instructor, most of her working career has involved a wide variety of decidedly non-academic positions including the caretaking of small farms in Ireland to high school cross country coaching in Connecticut. She is happiest now at home in the White Mountains of New Hampshire where she is presently working on her second novel.
